We’ve waited so long in hope for this season
Under sun drenched air strokes carving the sky.
Ears to the ground with time we are leasing.
Quieting our hearts for this very reason.
Bright morn dawns. Hope knocks three times.
Afternoon cuts in to answer the rhyme.
Then autumn evening presents a call.
Replying in kind, we see beautifall!
Let all snow-capped worries melt away.
If spring bears roses, we’ll let them stay.
Though summer’s satin dew does enthrall
We’ll spend our love in beautifall!
While waiting with patience will we get a prize?
If there’s something this season makes one realize
Is a race hard fought will often stall.
Love slowly wrought awakens beautifall!
